I watched a lecture online today. It’s about marketing mix. So I wrote a note about the lecture.
So the element of marketing as follows：(Important 4P)
1．Product
1. Great ideas
2. Great technology and continue to increase your technology
3. Under your product you can sell some fittings (it has to be different colors)
4. You have to choose a special brand of your product that people can remember around world (Like Nike)

2．Price
1. Sales
2. Special offers (buy one get one free or 3 for 2)
3. Not too expensive

3．Place
1. Market (shop’s location was really important)
2. Internet (save the money for rent a shop)

4．Promotion
1. Advertisement from different media like newspaper or TV
2. Give the information to people for all of the change for the product

subject-based resources

I am going to study consumer studies and marketing. So what’s marketing? It’s use of the company to advertise and sell goods and services. So it means if you have a good plan to sell goods it will make you become more successful. For example McDonald.Their marketing budget has never been matched by any other single brand name. McDonald spends more than $800 million dollars every year on marketing and promotion. In 1987 McDonald began a major advertising campaign; which aimed to neutralize the junk food misconceptions about McDonalds' good food.?This marketing idea did not go far because newspapers started to write McDonald doesn't have nutritious food and people don't come to McDonald for nutrition.From this McDonald soon only offered a nutrition card rather than trying to pass their food off as nutritious. Whether it is for McDonald or Radio Shack, the majority of us do fall for the gimmick and buy not only what we came for but one another item as well. Marketing is what makes one store better than the other, so the next time you shop somewhere, ask yourself why you chose togother. So marketing was really intersting and fun if you know what's real maketing is.

reflective writing

For this language course we have to do so many things. Firstly we have to join a seminar discussion for a topic. It’s quite novel for me, because I haven’t done any seminar before. In fact it’s not hard for me to talk in a seminar. In a seminar everyone can say whatever they want to say about the topic even though you have different opinion with others. I’ve done twice seminar. One is media other one is surveillance society. So before seminar start I have to check all of the details and some of examples to support my view. Then I just have to discuss with people which in the same group with me. It’s quite exciting and fun. I really enjoy it. Secondly we have to write an essay introduction for a topic. It’s a little bit hard for me. I have to write an essay introduction about if television a true mirror of society. I haven’t written any thing about this before. So I have no idea how to start an essay and what’s the important thing for an essay. I think that should be a important thing for me in the future if I still confuse about these things.

To 'darkness house'

I went to "darkness house" with my friends on Monday. It's near London Bridge and it was really cool! When I first time came in I saw a woman which in a long black coat and smile to me but I saw her mouth were full of blood. Then I just run away with my friend. This time I saw a lot of skulls around us. After few minutes walk we are in a perplex room which was really dark and all made by mirror. We used nearly five minutes to find the way out. Then we saw a lot of sculpture about how people dead in the early 18 century. It was horrible! People kill others just like kill a fish or a chicken. They think kill people as easy as play a game. After I come out, It’s still terrible to think of. I think I won’t forget it.
